This month we’ll see the 1968 Francois Truffaut classic Stolen Kisses/ Baisers volés.
One of the five semi-autobiographical films Truffaut made with his alter ego actor Jean-Pierre Leaud as Antoine Doinel. Here, Antoine gets out of the army and continues his life-long search for understanding of his relationships with women. The wild unrest of Paris in 1968 (and the U.S.) is the crucial backdrop to the story. (90 minutes)
